Job Description

Maternity Leave Replacement

Required to work for 20 hours per week, you will be based at the Council Offices in Castlebay, Isle of Barra.  You will be responsible for the co-ordination of home care arrangements, within agreed parameters, managing the day to day delivery of services. You will be responsible for rostering work, communicating with clients and generally ensuring the smooth delivery of the Home Care Service and that provision meets quality assurance standards in line with current legislation and National Standards – Care At Home.   

Requirements

You will have the ability to work effectively under pressure, possess excellent interpersonal skills, have experience of staff supervision and two years relevant work experience.
