AN AMBER FLOOD ALERT has been issued for Western Isles. Very strong winds have the potential to result in large waves along western coastlines on Saturday morning, primarily along the Uist Islands. Expected impacts are primarily spray and wave overtopping. Seas are expected to remain high into next week, though no significant impacts are currently expected.
