Scotland’s Chief Statistician today announced the release of the provisional estimates for the Index of Manufactured Exports for the first quarter of 2011. This quarterly publication measures growth, in real terms, of overseas exports by manufacturing companies located in Scotland. The main findings are: • Scottish manufactured exports sales grew by 3.9 per cent in real terms during the first quarter of 2011.
