Ninety-eight jobs go in Inverness at UBC

UBC's office in Inverness NINETY-EIGHT people in Inverness have lost their jobs today following building and civil engineering company UBC going into administration. In total the company has made 238 redundancies across Scotland including 90 in the Western Isles, 45 in Bathgate and five in Glasgow. On Tuesday, the company, based in Henderson Drive, Inverness, went into administration after experiencing cash flow problems due to challenging trading conditions.
