Six people were caught drink driving over the weekend. A POLICE chief has expressed his disappointment after six people were caught drink driving over the weekend across the Highlands. Five men, including one in the Western Isles, and one woman were held in custody until today. Divisional Commander Chief Superintendent Julian Innes said: "I am very disappointed to see that so many people are still prepared to risk their own and the lives of others on our roads by driving under the influence of alcohol. Mountain rescue team joins copter search ex-Inverness pub landlord

Ewan Barras is still missing. A MAJOR search for an Inverness business man is continuing today after he vanished from his city home. A helicopter and mountain rescue team have also joined forces with the police to try and find Ewan Barras, who is the former landlord of The Phoenix pub on Academy Street and was last seen at 6.30am yesterday. The 46-year-old was reported missing by his wife Denise after he disappeared from his Milton of Leys home. Police carried out door-to-door inquiries close to his home on Sandalwood Crescent and an RAF Lossiemouth based search and rescue helicopter also joined the search last night.
