All salaries are inclusive of Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of grade with annual incremental progression for permanent posts.

Job Description

Working within the children and families team from either Lionacleit Education Centre or Barra office you will support the flexible service delivered to vulnerable children and their families.  These posts will predominantly be working at weekends, evenings and school holidays in order to provide valuable respite and support to families.

In addition we are seeking enthusiastic individuals to form a team who will work directly with a young person in North Uist who has additional support needs in order to develop personal and social skills. These posts will be on a part time basis.             

Requirements

You will have relevant experience and knowledge of working with children and families; good communication skills and the ability to work on your own initiative. 

Full driving licence and PVG Scheme Record essential.
