Na h-Eileanan an Iar SNP MP Angus Brendan MacNeil has written to Scottish Transport Minister Keith Brown MSP regarding the need for a ferry trial from Lochboisdale to Mallaig. The local community have been calling for a dedicated ferry on this route for many years and this summer many have complained about access on and off Uist in particular.
