Households in some parts of the Highlands and Islands have been asked to use water “wisely” during prolonged dry weather.
Scottish Water said it was monitoring levels at treatment works at Portree on Skye and Kyle of Lochalsh.
The advice, which was first issued last month, comes as heavy rain causes flooding in other parts of Scotland.
Scottish Water said: “While customers are encouraged to use water wisely at all times, they can be assured that Scottish Water is also continuously working to protect this precious natural resource.
“We have measures in place to maintain supplies while drier weather continues whilst balancing the stewardship of environmental aspects.
“While the weather forecast ahead is uncertain we would ask customers to continue using water wisely throughout the summer.”
