Job Purpose

To represent the Council in the provision of a comprehensive information and advice service in respect of all Council services in a professional and courteous manner.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

Deliver excellent customer service.
Process customer and service information.
Support service development

Skills and Experience
Experience of working in a busy customer service environment.
Minimum 4 ‘O’ Grades/Standard Grades including Maths and English.
High level of accuracy in work.
Experience of working as part of a successful team.
Ability to use own initiative to meet varying customer requirements.
Flexible and adaptable approach to meet changing service requirements.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to deal with people in an understanding and professional manner
Appreciation and acceptance of and commitment to the importance of confidentiality.
Excellent telephone manner
