Housing and Communities Directorate is accountable for the delivery of generic frontline services and provides access to a wide range of services delivered by the Council and its partners.
The key Service objectives involve providing essential services effectively and efficiently to improve customer experience when contacting Fife Council.
Our network of Libraries and Local Offices are the first point of contact for customers who visit the Council face to face. They provide information, advice and access to a wide range of services that Fife Council and our partners deliver.
Within a Library and/or Local Office environment, you will provide a friendly, efficient and effective first point of contact for Fife Council citizens, visitors and businesses. This includes providing advice, information, logging requests for services, taking payments and delivering first class customer service.
You will be educated to SVQ Level 2 or equivalent including Standard Grade English and Maths at level 2 and have excellent customer care skills with the ability to respond flexibly and sensitively to people with a variety of needs, even in challenging situations.
