>>Essential Criteria

  • Clerical experience, including reception work, filing, record keeping and word processing
  • Experience of spreadsheet input and data capture
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office software
  • Flexible and adaptable approach
  • Ability to use initiative and work under pressure
  • Good organisational/communication/interpersonal skills
  • Ability to cope with a variety of tasks
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team


>> Desirable Criteria

  • Knowledge of local government
  • Interest in waste/recycling
  • Reception experience
  • Educated to Standard Grade or equivalent
  • ECDL qualification
  • Recognised typing/word processing qualification
  • Experience in using CRM, Northgate and iProc processing
  • Experience of working with frontline staff
