What is the Role?
To undertake, individually or as part of a team, the cleaning of designated areas to ensure that they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition in line with the specification.
What will you do?
You will assist in all cleaning requirements of the Arran Outdoor Centre from cleaning dormitories, making beds and cleaning bathrooms to assisting with the clearing of dining hall and kitchen cleaning.
What do you need to bring to the Role?
Previous cleaning experience, a positive approach and the ability to work in a small team are required for this post.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007. Therefore, it is an offence to apply if you are barred from working with children.
Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by North Ayrshire Council. Please note: Successful candidates will be expected to meet the cost of the relevant PVG check (£59 or £18), which will be deducted from your wages following the commencement of employment.
