Job DescriptionAddressing the safety, advocacy and support needs of victims/survivors are essential parts of Glasgow’s Domestic Abuse courts. ASSIST works closely with statutory and voluntary services to deliver a pro-active, rapid and stream-line response for those affected by Domestic Abuse. ASSIST are now seeking to recruit a Children and Young Person’s Advocacy Worker to cover Maternity Leave. Essential to this post is a sound understanding of the issues surrounding domestic abuse, a commitment to partnership working and an understanding of the impact of Domestic Abuse on children, families and committees. Membership to the PVG Scheme is essential for this position. This is a temporary maternity leave cover initially for 6 month period

Salary: £26,331 – £28,680
