All salaries are inclusive of Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of grade with annual incremental progression for permanent posts.
Job Description
Based in Stornoway, you will be required to provide a link between elderly persons/people with disabilities, etc living within the community who require emergency assistance and the Community Alarm Control Room.
Requirements
You will also be required to carry out a variety of communication and administrative duties relating to the provision of an ‘out of hours’ service and other ancillary tasks on behalf of the Comhairle.
You must have good communication skills and telephone manner, knowledge of emergency services and professional agencies, and good IT keyboard skills.
The ability to communicate in Gaelic is essential
